Patience

On my own, I am one of little patience. I cannot stand to wait for anything. But God takes patience very seriously. It's important, and it's worth putting into action.

What does God say about being Patient?
He says that those who are patient shall have:
-Strength (Psalm 27:14, Isaiah 40:31)
-Salvation (Isaiah 25:9)
-Joy (Psalm 33:20-21)
-Peace (Psalms 37:7-9)
-Less Bruises (Proverbs 15:18)
-Love (1 Corinthians 13:4)
-And more (James 5:7-8, 1 Thessalonians 5:14, Hebrews 6:12)


When you stop to look at all the amazing things that come from waiting on the Lord, it makes it a little easier to do so. It's not easy to sit and wait for things. Whether it be sitting in your car for a couple minutes, waiting for the light to turn green, or a couple years for a prayer to be answered. Just know that God has his own timeline and that his timing is better than ours can ever be. He knows what he's doing because he can see the whole picture. That's why patience is so important. God never makes us wait for nothing. There is ALWAYS a reason. A good reason! Good things come to those who wait? Yes! Oh, the things our Father wants to give us, if we'd only take the time to wait for them!
